2015 - Blessings

This year started off so good...winter sunshine, little snow yet an opportunity to ski Mt. Seymour with Tanya and Daniel - Nadia's first time on skis, and Jonas on his own for the first time. It doesn't even feel like winter as it's been warmer and wetter than normal. Still there's plenty of things to do besides work and school. Canucks vs. Ducks, Steveston with Grandpa and Zee-zee where the kids got to take the helm of one of the training ships - thanks for coming Mom and Dad. Nadia is already a fine gymnast - her first program - and Jonas, along with soccer, is becoming an accomplished skater and hockey player - training for 2015-16? Jonas, Grade 1, is reading and writing at a high level, and is often checking the time on his wrist watch he got for Christmas. He's a numbers guy like Dad. Nadia surprises (and sometimes frustrates) us with her sweet comments, attitudes and observations. She's now wrapping up preschool where she's become one of the "senior" class leaders  - she's beginning to read and write at high level too. Kindergarten next. Life goes on and we count our blessings.
