June-uary

June started off cold and wet but finished strong with warm sunshine and beautiful weather. Nadia lost her two front teeth and Jonas continued Cliff Avenue and Romas Tulis Soccer Academies. Lucy Hillar's birthday party sleepover downtown was a hit - they even met Kevin Bieksa at American Girl doll store and got to stay at Sylvia Hotel by English Bay. I visited the Ferreiras at Rocky Point, Port Moody.

Jonas had many "firsts"in his 6th month of life, he's growing up way too fast! Where do we start.......we had our first rolling over back to front and then front to back, our first plane ride, our first tooth, first Giants hockey game with the Pereira's (which both Jonas and Daniel lasted through all 3 periods) and our first Super Bowl! Yes, we have been busy. Jonas and I left Keith in Burnaby and went off to my parents for a week. We had a very relaxing visit in Peace River and Jonas loved all the extra attention from Grandpa and Mumzie! I wasn't sure how he would like the plane rides but he was great! Hi! My name is Jonas Carter Ribeiro and my parents welcomed me into the world on July 10, 2008 at 1:03 AM at Women's and Children's Hospital in Vancouver, BC! I'm nice and light, weighing 6lbs 13oz and 50 cm long. The Drs and Nurses at the hospital thought I was so cute they wanted me to stay for 10 days to give me medicine to make my blood healthy. It was a bit hard for my Mommy and Daddy but they stayed with me for 17 hours everyday! My Mommy and Daddy have so many family and friends that love them and me, so we always had visitors while I was at the hospital. I was finally able to come home on July 19th. I love having company, call my Mommy and Daddy and arrange a play date with me!
