April showers....

They say April showers bring May flowers. Wow! How time flies! Jonas and Dad taught themselves how to solve the Rubix Cube. On April 1 Jonas solved it for the very first time - with a cheat sheet. April 17 he solved it unassisted in a record 2 minutes 36 seconds - faster than Dad's best time of 3:47!



Avo was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer recently but it was caught early enough that the prognosis is good. I flew out to Toronto to visit him and the rest of the family for the long weekend. It was nice to be with Dad and everyone. We caught up on old times and enjoyed the beginning of the NHL Playoffs including the hometown Maple Leafs.

Mom and Dad work-work-work, Jonas plays soccer - Cliff Avenue Saturday afternoons and on Tuesdays in May - Roman Tulis .  Nadia sings with BC Girls Choir Saturday mornings, and starting in May Gymnastics at Moody Gym. Oh yeah, and both kids swim too, Thursday nights at Fred Randall Pool, Edmonds Centre!

I'm nice and light, weighing 6lbs 13oz and 50 cm long. The Drs and Nurses at the hospital thought I was so cute they wanted me to stay for 10 days to give me medicine to make my blood healthy. It was a bit hard for my Mommy and Daddy but they stayed with me for 17 hours everyday! My Mommy and Daddy have so many family and friends that love them and me, so we always had visitors while I was at the hospital. I was finally able to come home on July 19th. I love having company, call my Mommy and Daddy and arrange a play date with me!
